So, I promised that normal service would resume this week, but - you lucky lot - you’ve got a bumper crop of results to match this fine, sunny weather, as we catch up on both last weekend and this one.
Firstly, a huge thank you and well done to all who ran or volunteered at last week’s Pednor 5 event. You can find full results, plus a great selection of photos - courtesy of Martyn Loach - here. With sadness, we report that Tony Watts our President has passed away.
Tony, a 400m (then 440yds) international in his youth, was a founder member of Chiltern Harriers. He was Chair for many years, and became our President in 2006. He would have been 95 in June. Our sincere condolences to Jayne and family at this time. Update The club has spoken and written to Jayne expressing our condolences, and recognising Tony's vast contribution to Chiltern Harriers. Tony's wish was that there would be no funeral. There will be a Direct Cremation.
