![]() Chiltern Harriers U13s and U15s had another good match in the second YDL match of the season. Despite having a few gaps in the team, athletes were flexible in helping the team out and covered plenty of events. The team was a creditable third in the seven-team division. It was another peasant day in Southampton. Good conditions for athletics. U15 Boys A small team of five worked hard and there were some very strong efforts. Callum Powell won A string 800m in 2.20.2 with Aidan Suleyman gaining a PB of 2.26.4 to be third in the B string. In 1500m Alex Hughes was second in A string in 4.51.2 and James Holdsworth won the B string in 4.56.5. The team were short of sprinters but Cameron McGuffin made an excellent club debut, 28.2 in 200m and 44.9 in 300m. Callum helped out in long jump and threw a javelin PB of 21.89m to be third. James Holdsworth helped in discus and Aidan in shot and hammer. Cameron threw B string discus and Alex B string javelin. The 4 x 300m relay team of James, Callum, Alex and Aidan were third. U15 Girls A fuller girls team scored good points. Abi Masters ran PBs of 14.1 and 28.7 in the short sprints, and Ffion Harman and Florence Lee-Rubis ran well in 300m. Lucy Wilkinson and Olivia Clarke looked after 800m and Lily Jessop-Tranter had another good race to be third in A string 1500m in 5.00.0. Marlie Nkoane was second in B string in a PB of 5.06.1. Olivia Clarke and Rebecca Lawson scored useful points in 80m hurdles. Rebecca and Marlie helped out in long jump, and Olivia and Florence kept the momentum going in high jump. Lucy was second in hammer with a PB of 22.27m and third in javelin, Lily won B string hammer and Ffion was second in B string javelin. The sprint relay team was fifth (Abi, Ffion, Florence, Lucy) and the 4 x 300m team was third (Lily, Rebecca, Marlie, Olivia). U13 Boys The U13 boys saw good efforts all round. Felix Danielli was fourth in 1200m in a PB of 4.00.9, Hugo Mundy second in B string. In 800m Charlie Quantrill was second in A string and Luke Coultate won the B string. In 75m Lenny Brooks-Klingenschmid and Felix Danielli gained PBs and Aarav Johnson and Lenny looked after 150m. Charlie and Lenny scored very useful points in hurdles and Jacob McCall and Isaac McCall looked after long jump. Felix continued his good afternoon with a PB of 1.26m in high jump and Lenny won the B string. Hugo Mundy was second in A string shot with a PB of 7.17m and was third in javelin with 21.27m, both PBs. Jacob helped out in B string shot and Luke in B string javelin. The 4 x 100m relay team of Aarav, Charlie, Luke and Felix was third. U13 Girls Zoe Partridge and Carys Jones ran 75m with Kara Gorman and Zoe running 150m. In middle distance Evelyn Wildman was third in A string 800m, Carys second in B string. Kara Gorman ran a PB 4.01.1 to win 1200m, with Nia Clarke making it a double win in the B string. Nia and Megan Lockwood scored good hurdles points and Nia continued her good day with a PB in A string long jump, Megan looking after B string. Evelyn was second A string high jump with Carys getting a win in B string. Evelyn and Kara gained shot PBs and the 4 x 100m team of Nia, Megan, Carys and Kara were fifth. The next match is at Guildford on July 3rd. The storms stayed away long enough for some superb 800m running from Chiltern athletes on Wednesday.

There were 100m wins for U13 Boy Felix Danielli in 14.24 and U17 woman Mila Luker in 13.33. Aaliyah Cain was third in the U17W race in 13.62. Zeno Chiappe ran 15.32 in the U13 boys race. In the U15 Boys final Enzo Chiappe was fifth in 16.50. Sarah Cross was third in the senior women’s race in 13.70. In the U15 Girls event Abigail Masters ran a PB 14.11 in the heat to make the final where she was fourth in 14.12. Also involved in the heats were Iris Foreman (14.90), Georgia Potts (15.14) and Syra Raza (15.489). In 300m Max Roughton won gold in the U15 boys race in a PB of 41.41. Several U15 girls contested the heats with Yasmin Warnes (45.76), Ffion Harman (46.07) and Florence Lee-Rubis (46.74) making the final. Also running well was Charlotte Hewson in 47.98. The final saw Yasmin take bronze in 45.76 with Ffion fourth in 46.07 and Florence sixth in 47.32. U17 Jo Snelling was fourth in her final in a PB of 46.35. Alice Brown won gold in the U20 women’s 400m in a PB of 62.29 with Grace Thorpe third in 65.00. (approx. – results not up yet) U20 Thomas Askey ran a PB of 53.50 to be third and U17 Felix Palmer won silver in his race with a PB of 54.43. (approx. – results not up yet) The 1500m was the middle distance race of the day and U13 Kara Gorman won gold in a PB of 5.04.13. Charlie Quantrill (PB of 5.00.38) and Felix Danielli (PB of 5.01.68) won silver and bronze in the boys version. The U15 girls race was split into two time trials with Lily Jessop-Tranter best placed overall in fourth with 4.58.11. Also running well were Marlie Nkoane (5.10.43), Olivia Clarke (5.17.93) and Jocelyn Davies (5.34.51). Aidan Suleyman front ran for a win in the boys’ version in 5.01.59. Allegra Massey (bronze in 4.55.99) and Sofia Lomas (fifth in 5.23.15) were involved in the U17 women’s race and Charlotte Docwra was second in the U20 event in 5.08.48. Laurie Gawne ran 4.27.25 to be second in the U20 men’s race and Rowan Gawne was on PB form to log 4.43.00 and be fifth in the U17 race. Short hurdles saw a win for Zoe Partridge in the U13s in 16.68. In the field Chisom Nwafor took the honours in U17 women’s long jump. Chisom jumped 6.04m with a legal wind and 6.22m with a slight tailwind to win comfortably. This gives Chisom the qualification to take part in the European U18 Championships in Jerusalem later in the summer. Chisom is currently ranked no 1 in Europe. Also doing well in the U17 long jump were Mila Luker (PB of 4.73m for fourth) and Sofia Lomas (PB of 4.70m for fifth). The U15 girls long jump had a big field of 16. Florence Lee-Rubis won silver with a PB of 4.38m and there were good efforts from Ffion Harman (6th in 4.15m), Rebecca Lawson (8th PB of 4.04m), Yasmin Warnes (4.02m), Charlotte Hewson (4.02m), Yasmin Warnes (3.94m) and Georgia Potts (3.89m). In the boys U15 long jump Samuel Attia won silver with 4.71m, Enzo Chiappe 5th with 3.83m and Mattie Gemmell 10th with 3.22m. In the throws, U15 Lucy Wilkinson won two golds in hammer (PB of 20.47m) and javelin (19.26m) Ffion Harman won silver in javelin with 15.16m and Florence Lee-Rubis won bronze with 12.56m. Allegra Massey won bronze in U17 women’s javelin with 13.79m. Sarah Cross won Senior women’s javelin with 29.99m. Sunday – grey, showery, cooler Chisom Nwafor continued her good work on Sunday with a PB win in 200m in 25.46. Aaliyah Cain was fourth in 28.29. U13 Felix Danielli gained another county title with a 200m win in 29.52. Luke Coultate ran 31.00. Elizabeth Nickless ran 31.17 in the U15 girls 200m to be fourth and Sarah Cross ran 28.00 (approx. – results not up yet) in the senior women’s race to be third. There were some great 800m races to enjoy. Evelyn Wildman was just pipped for silver in the U13 girls race with a good time of 2.37.37 and Nia Clarke ran well to be fourth in 2.41.39. The U13 boys race was a high quality affair. Felix Danielli finished fast to be third in 2.26.23 just ahead of team mate Jack Martin (2.26.26). Also running well were Hugo Mundy (2.35.05), Luke Coultate (24.42.43) and Theo Roughton (2.45.33). There was a Chiltern 1-2 in the U15 Boys race with Rory Hilton coming home in front with a PB 2.19.41 ahead of Max Roughton in 2.20.85. Mattie Gemmell ran 2.42.36 and Charlie De Sousa 2.50.81. In the U17 men’s race John Nickless equalled his PB of 1.59.98 in a very closely fought three-way battle. After leading most of the way John had to settle with bronze. Frankie Baxter scored a season’s best 2.22.22 to be fourth in the U17 women’s race. Perhaps the best middle distance event of the weekend was the U15 girls 800m. This featured three heats of eight, narrowing to a final of eight three hours later. So tactics and recovery skills were important. In heat 1 Issy Robinson ran 2.29.66 to be second so qualified well. Heat 2 saw a good run from Lydia Cross, fourth in 2.36.42 and a PB from Rebecca Lawson of 2.43.84. In heat 3 Lily Jessop-Tranter and Izzy Martin ran sensibly to qualify in first and second in 2.31.74 and 2.31.89. Also in heat 3 Alice Peckham scored a PB of 2.32.97, Lucy Wilkinson ran 2.36.21, and Genevieve Donald 2.53.56. In an exciting final Lily had a great run to win bronze in 2.25.35 with Izzy sixth in 2.30.20 and Issy eighth in 2.35.55. Jo Snelling won bronze in 300m hurdles with a PB of 51.74. In the U20 400m hurdles Rufaro Chikwanda won gold with 73.14 and Jess Cook was second in 77.91. In the field there were three high jump wins: Evelyn Wildman, 1.20m in U13 girls, Felix Danielli 1.20m in U13 boys, and Mattie Gemmell 1.30m in U15 boys. In U15 girls Ffion Harman and Florence Lee-Rubis both jumped 1.30m but Ffion shared silver, Florence was in fourth on countback. Chisom Nwafor gained yet another gold with 1.55m in U17 women’s high jump. Chisom scored gold number four with 12.30m in shot and Frankie Baxter was fourth with 6.78m. Sarah Cross won Senior women’s shot with 9.05m. Elizabeth Nickless won silver in U15 girls discus with 12.26m and Amber Galley won U17 women’s silver with a PB of 21.57m. Chiltern Harriers U13s and U15s made a good start to their Youth Development League season with third place at Southampton last Sunday, May 8th.
U15 Boys A small team worked hard and covered several events. Issa Philips-Pope was third in 100m in 13.1 and bagged a 200m PB of 26.5. Issa also contributed with an 18.07m javelin PB. Aidan Suleyman ran 46.3 for 300m and helped with 3.61m in long jump and 12.61m in discus. Callum Powell ran well for second in 800m in 2.22.8 and added 3.62m in long jump. The 1500m pair of Alex Hughes (4.53.6) for second in A string and James Holdsworth (5.04.9) for third in B string did well with Alex also contributing in shot and discus. James helped out in javelin. The 3 x 300m team was third. U15 Girls There were some excellent performances from the U15 girls. Lily Jessop-Tranter and Lucy Wilkinson ran 100m with Abigail Masters and Emily Ford tackling 200m. Ffion Harman ran a PB of 45.0 in 300m as did Lydia Cross in 49.1. In 800m Olivia Clarke ran a PB to be second in 2.27.8 and Izzy Martin also PB’d in B string in 2.25.8. Issy Robinson and Jocelyn Davies did well in non-scoring 800m. In an excellent 1500m Lily Jessop-Tranter was third in A string in 5.00.1 and Emily Ford third in B string in 5.01.3. Florence Lee-Rubis with 14.3 and Ffion Harman with 15.3 both scored PBs in 75m hurdles. The 4 x 100m team were 6th and the 4 x 300m team second. In the field Olivia Clarke and Jocelyn Davies looked after high jump and Florence Lee-Rubis and Marlie Nkoane did long jump. Izzy Martin and Olivia Clarke scored points in shot and Lydia Cross and Issy Robinson tackled discus. Lucy Wilkinson and Lily Jessop-Tranter scored useful points in hammer and Lucy continued her helpful work in the field in javelin along with Emily Ford. U13 Boys Tom Ford logged a good win in A string 800m with 2.25.0 and Hugo Mundy won B string with 2.34.7. In 1200m there was further success with Jack Martin second in A string (3.57.6) and Kit Dixon (4.14.0) winning B string. Aarav Johnson ran PBs in 75m and 150m. He was supported in sprint B strings by Tom Ford and Jacob McCall. The 4 x 100m relay team was fifth. In the field Jack Martin jumped an excellent long jump PB of 4.20 while Isaac McCall scored 3.25m in B string. Jack also tackled high jump. Hugo Mundy scored useful points in shot and javelin supported by Jacob McCall and Aarav Johnson. U13 Girls Maya Davis and Zoe Partridge ran 75m with Zoe running 150m. Middle distance was good with Evelyn Wildman second in 800m A string in 2.35.2 (PB) and Nia Clarke second in B string. Kara Gorman was second in 1200m A string in a PB of 4.01.1 and Carys Jones was fourth in B string. Nia Clarke and Carys Jones ran hurdles and the relay team was sixth. In the field Evelyn Wildman and Carys Jones scored good points in high jump and Nia Clarke and Kara Gorman did long jump. In the throws Maya Davis did shot and Zoe Partridge javelin. The second match is soon on Saturday 22nd, again at Southampton. There was another great evening of middle distance running at Watford on Wednesday with many PBs for Chiltern runners.
1500m Race 1 U13s Evelyn Wildman with 5.20.85, Nia Clarke with 5.25.02, Isaac McCall with 5.32.31, and Carys Jones with 5.45.0 all scored impressive PBs. U15 Rebecca Lawson ran well for 5.34.37 and U13 Eleanor Horne ran 6.04.40. Race 2 In-form U15 Issy Robinson ran a PB of 5.12.54 with U13 Luke Coultate also logging a new best of 5.27.31. Also doing well in this one were U13 Jacob McCall in 5.30.94, U13 Maya Davis 5.31.63, and U15 Lydia Cross in 5.51.58. Race 3 Three Chiltern PBs in Race 3 from U13 Felix Danielli in 5.01.32, U15 Olivia Clarke in 5.03.09, and U15 Marlie Nkoane in 5.07.12. U13 Kit Dixon was a little down on his recently set best with 5.21.27. Race 4 U13 Kara Gorman ran a new best of 5.04.83 in Race 4. Race 5 U15 Lily Jessop-Tranter ran a strong but controlled race to log a big PB of 4.55.18. Race 6 Three Chilterns ran in a pack in this one with V55 Ian Lawson running 4.57.62, U15 Rory Hilton 5.01.33, and U15 Emily Ford 5.03.36. Race 7 U15 Callum Powell ran a committed race to score a big PB of 4.46.86. Race 8 U17 Maddie Hughes made her track season debut with a very good 4.48.18. Race 9 There were PBs in Race 9 For U15 Alex Hughes in 4.41.10 and U13 Tom Ford in 4.42.74. Race 12 U20 Louis Peterson ran a well-paced race to win Race 10 in a new best of 4.07.13. U17 Isaac Jessop-Tranter was also in PB shape with 4.10.84 as was U17 Ash Finch with 4.16.57. Race 14 U17 Alden Collier had by far his best run of the season to run a PB and ESAA qualifying time of 3.57.03. 3000m Senior Man Will Perkin was in the final race of the evening and, in a race where there were 19 PBs, ran a new best of 8.31.32. A big Chiltern contingent filled out what was the quietest Watford Open in memory on Wednesday.
On a cool, still evening some races fell victim to showers but conditions were quite good for a meeting so early in the season. 100m U13 Felix Danielli got his season going with a good 13.78. Long Jump U13 Evelyn Wildman completed six consistently good jumps, the best of which was a PB of 3.89m. 1500m Race 1 Felix Danielli was back in action and ran 5.09.70 and Nia Clarke in her U13 debut ran a very mature race to log 5.31.88. Also running well were U15 Rebecca Lawson (5.44.05), U15 Eleanor Horne making her club debut (5.59.72), and U13 Carys Jones (6.05.05). Race 2 Three U13 Boys made their debuts in this one - Luke Coultate (5.29.02), Jacob McCall (5.29.82) and Isaac McCall (5.36.66). U15 Lydia Cross ran 5.51.67. Race 3 Olivia Clarke ran a five second PB to log 5.09.54. There were more Chiltern debutants at the distance and all had great races – U13 Kit Dixon ran 5.20.93, U13 George Mawby ran 5.23.82, and U15 Issy Robinson ran 5.24.78. Race 4 U15 Emily Ford ran well for 5.04.44 and Charlie Quantrill had a great run to score a PB of 5.07.11. U15 Izzy Martin ran well for a PB of 5.08.97, and U13 debutants Kara Gorman ran 5.10.40, and U13 Hugo Mundy 5.23.16, both excellent efforts. Race 5 One of the best Chiltern runs of the evening came from U15 James Holdsworth who won Race 5 convincingly in a PB of 4.47.63. Fellow U15 Callum Powell ran 4.56.45 and Jack Martin logged the best U13 time of the evening with an impressive 4.58.59. Vet 55 Ian Lawson ran 4.59.58 and U15 Lily Jessop-Tranter ran good PB of 5.00.13. Race 6 U17 Matt Evans was a fraction outside his PB with 4.39.52. U15 Alex Hughes ran a good 4.46.34 and U17 Frankie Baxter got her season going with 4.54.75. Race 7 U17 Max Baxter ran a big PB of 4.30.90 with fellow U17 Ethan McCall running 4.41.91, a second outside his best. Race 8 Four U17 men ran this one with three gaining new bests. Isaac Jessop-Tranter ran very well to log 4.19.52 with John Nickless taking ten seconds off his PB with 4.21.13. Euan Pinder was off his best with 4.25.59 and debutant Ash Finch ran an impressive 4.27.00. Race 9 After a very fast opening lap U17s Oakley Denson and Alden Collier faded a little with Oakley running 4.06.65 and Alden 4.12.74. Loughborough Open
January 15th/16th saw the Loughborough Open where Lily Holt, competing for Birmingham University, got her season going. Lily ran two 60m hurdles races on the 15th in 9.42. and 9.49 and on the 16th had a perfect high jump card up to 1.66m, but just couldn’t get over 1.70m London Indoor Games The London Indoor Games for U13/U15/U17 took place on Jan 29th/30th with several Chiltern athletes in action. In 60m debutant Florence Owen (U15) ran 9.84 and 9.93. In 300m U15s Elizabeth Nickless (50.54) and Leila Pollard (53.39) both ran PBs. U17 John Nickless improved his 400m PB to an impressive 53.85. In 800m Oakley Denson continued his busy indoor season with and 800m in 1.59.75 whilst fellow U17 Felix Palmer ran 2.17.34. There were PBs for U15s for Ffion Harman (2.39.44) and Florence Lee-Rubis (2.38.51). U17s Chisom Nwafor and Gabi Riley tackled 60m hurdles with Chisom running 8.84 (PB) and 8.92 and Gabi 10.22. EA U15/U17/U20 Championships The high point of the indoor season for age group athletes, the England Athletics U15/U17/U20 Championships, took place at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield on the weekend of 12th/13th February. The highlight was a gold medal for Chisom Nwafor in the U17 Women’s Long Jump. In a close battle Chisom prevailed with a jump of 5.71m, just ahead of jumps of 5.65m and 5.60m in second and third. There were three U17 men taking part in 800m. In Heat 2 Isaac Jessop-Tranter battled hard for second place in 2.04.88 but was down on his best time from last month and did not progress to the final. Going into the championships, Oakley Denson was ranked top 3 in the country and looked a good bet for a medal. Oakley looked good winning Heat 3 but was very unfortunate to be disqualified for a lane infringement and took no further part. In Heat 4 John Nickless led the race at a good pace but was overhauled in the second half of the race and was third, just missing out on the final. His strong pace did, however, result in a new PB of 1.59.98, John’s first time below two minutes The indoor season is well underway and Chiltern athletes have been taking to the boards.
Lee Valley December Open U17 Jemma Thomson was first to get her indoor season going on December 5th with an excellent 300m PB at Lee Valley of 42.77 Lee Valley New Year Open January 2nd saw several Chilterns in action. U17 Chisom Nwafor ran a 60m PB of 8.07 and followed this up with a good 200m of 26.10. Dayo Akinjobi (U17) and Henry Wendt (U15) tackled the sprints with Dayo recording 8.24 (PB) for 60m and 28.33 for 200m. Henry ran PBs of 9.00 and 30.21. U17 John Nickless ran a good PB of 54.75 for 400m. Middle distance runners Oakley Denson (U17) and Isaac Jessop-Tranter (U15) got their seasons going in 800m – Oakley ran 1.57.91 and Isaac 2.05.73. Three U15 girls tackled 800m – Lily Jessop-Tranter (2.37.88), Ffion Harman (2.44.53) and Florence Lee-Rubis (2.44.75). BMC Sheffield Oakley made the trip to Sheffield to run in the BMC meeting there on January 9th running 1.58.07 in the C race. Senior Man Harry Cox was in the A race running a good time of 1.55.19. Be Fit Academy meeting Senior Women Sarah Cross was ruthlessly consistent at an open meeting at Lee Valley on Jan 9th, running two 60m races, both in 8.29. SEAA U13/U15/U17 Championships Several Chiltern youngsters took to the boards in the Southern Championships at Lee Valley on the weekend of January 15th/16th. U17 Jemma Thomson tackled 200m and ran 26.66 to be second in her heat and go through to the semis, but her 26.7 there was the fastest time not to get through to the final. U17 Mila Luker logged a long jump PB of 4.57m to be tenth in Pool A. The U17 men’s 800m saw a strong Chiltern presence. Oakley Denson won heat 1 in 2.03.29 with Felix Palmer making his indoor debut with 2.17.01. In heat 2 both Isaac Jessop-Tranter (2.02.58) and John Nickless (2.03.12) both made it through to the final. In the final Oakley was joint second in a tight finish in 1.55.6 (PB), Isaac fifth in 2.02.00 and John sixth in 2.02.88 (PB). With the SEAA Road Relays at Crystal Palace cancelled at the last minute, SOAR and a handful of Milton Keynes and AFD club people hastily arranged a replacement event based at Stantonbury Stadium, Milton Keynes on Sunday.
The sun shone and a good turnout of Chiltern athletes performed well on a 2.6k or 5.0k route around the footpaths near the stadium. There was a win for the U15 boys and plenty of good efforts elsewhere. U13s The U13 boys started at 11.00am followed by the U13 girls at 11.02am. There was one Chiltern team each in this age group. The boys were led off by James Holdsworth who ran well for 10.02 on the 2.6k circuit, coming home in ninth place. Felix Danielli ran 10.28 on leg 2 to move the team up to sixth and Charlie Quantrill continued the good work to run 10.12, moving the team up to fifth. Eighteen teams faced the starter. The U13 girls also did well with Marlie Nkoane having a great leg 1 to run 10.41, bringing the team home in fifth. Issy Robinson ran 11.28 and Lydia Cross 12.15 to have the team finish in tenth. There were nineteen teams on the start line. U15s The Chiltern U15 boys are a formidable squad and the A team took a comfortable win with the B team third. Isaac Jessop-Tranter led off for the A team and came in third with 9.07. Archie Pinder ran 9.07 to put the team in the lead and Alden Collier completed the win with 9.05. For the Bs Alex Hughes ran 9.27 on leg 1 to put them in fifth and Max Baxter maintained that spot on leg 2 after a 9.48 lap. Euan Pinder powered round in 9.06 to put the team third. In an incomplete C team newcomer Hari Mistry ran 10.36 and Rowan Gawne 10.00. Eighteen teams toed the line. There were three complete U15 girls teams. The A team did very well led off by Lesedi Nkoane with an impressive 10.05 to be fourth. Lily Jessop-Tranter ran 11.28 and Frankie Baxter 10.20 to secure a finish spot of seventh. The B team of Olivia Clarke (10.53), Lucy Wilkinson (11.59) and Izzy Martin (10.56) was 12th and the C team of Marea Logan (11.43), Rebecca Lawson (12.11) and Savarnah Pandya (11.57) was 16th. There were 26 teams on the start line. U17s It was great to have two full U17 women’s teams on show. The A team of Holly Henderson (10.20), Charlotte Docwra (10.46) and Abbie Henderson (11.04) were seventh and the B team of Alice Brown (11.01), Ellie Shield (11.09) and Olivia Edwards (11.27) were 13th. Nineteen teams started. The U17 men took on the longer 5k circuit and the Chiltern A team started well courtesy of Thomas Askey. However after 800m Thomas pulled a pectoral muscle but bravely continued in pain to complete his lap in 18.01. Laurie Gawne made up four places with a solid 17.36 and Oakley Denson made up two more but was disappointed with his lap of 18.15. The team were 12th from 25th starters. Matthew Evans gained good experience running 19.59 in an incomplete B team. Senior Men Chiltern had a Senior men’s team out for the first time in a while. Up against some top-drawer clubs, the six-man team battled hard and finished in a creditable 26th place from 48 teams facing the starter. This was enough to be invited to the National Road Relays in Sutton Coldfield in two weeks time. Harry Cox led off on the gently undulating route and came home in 27th in a brisk 16.08. Richard Slade (15.53) made up several places and Will Perkin (15.49) made up one more to have the team in 18th. Tom Dixon (17.56), Finn O’Brien (17.18) and Luke Martin (17.48) all ran well but losing a couple of places each. The team were well ahead of local rivals Milton Keynes and Wycombe Phoenix. |
